Let's call this the Black Author Bookoutlet haul because I literally ordered all the blackest books I could find on the website. I needed more books for my Blackout Challenge and so I went hunting the classics and the modern.
Binti by Nnedi Okorafor. I'm kind of mad this is so small but whatevs I'm sure it will be a fast read for me then
Lagoon also by Nnedi Okorafor no idea what it's about but got because she's really popular author and I wanted to see what the hype was all about.
Then I got some works by the great Octavia E Butler. She's an amazing writer of Afrofuturism so if you want to explore that check these out.
Seed To Harvest This contains books 1-4 of the Patternmaster Series
Fledgling
Parable of The Sower (Earthseed 1) This has been on my radar for a long time and I couldn't' wait to get to this.
Parable of the Talents (Earthseed 2)
Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson, because of the author. I've enjoyed reading a few of her other works so I figured I would grab this as well.
The Good Negress by A. J Verdelle. I loved the look of the cover and it's on the Lemonade Syllabus so I snagged this one as well.
And for my non-fiction, I scooped up Every Body Yoga by Jessamyn Stanley who is just all over nowadays and she justly deserves all the hype she's getting.
And that's all folks. Another good haul for this week, really I should stay away but umm I already know I have a few more books coming in next week then we have ebooks. It's just never going to stop, and really I don't want it to. What'd you get in your haul this week?? Share in the comments down below and I'll see you next week.
Happy Reading & Haulin' my loves
