Synopsis:
The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind. Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look. But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.
Where do I begin?? I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH.
Once again I stayed up late to finish this book, it took me longer than the others because after this there is nothing left for me right now. *sobs* I loved this book, the writing, the characters, the emotions, all of it. Katie gets to the heart of the story and bring you in, you become so immersed in their world and you love every second of it.There are moments that make your heart seize, that make you laugh out loud, that bring a few stray tears along and throughout it all you're rooting for them to make t, for them to survive for them to get out!! I loved how easily Noah & Echo fit into the story, along with Beth & Ryan. The glimpses of each couple only adds to the story, instead of taking away your focus.

I think I might actually love Isaiah more than I love Noah, yeah that's saying something. I didn't realize how much Noah and Isaiah depended on each other until this book, how deeply we misunderstood Isaiah due to the glimpses we got from other characters. For me his story hurt the worst because there were several chances for his lot to get better and always it came down to the selfish desire of one person. He had such big dreams and all he needed was a chance, just one to make it happen. I'm glad he was so independent and stubborn because it meant he stayed clear of so much that normally would bring others down.

Rachel has been for me a wonderful character, she still comes after Echo & Beth, but she's such a wonderful character. Her fear of being weak was literally killing her. I know, I have personally felt pressured to be something else but never like this; her family was beyond broken and dysfunctional.  To even make a child feel like this is just wrong, even if you thought so in your head saying out loud to your child is beyond disgusting. I get that her older brothers were coming from a good place but NO sir your doing it wrong!!

I loved that Rachel had an outlet in cars and that made it amazing to read her and Isaiah's love, because I'm a car junkie myself (not like them but you know I'm good) and reading this story made me so happy to see a female character that wasn't just a hanger-on, she was actually into the cars and knew her stuff.

I know my heart seized when we got close to the end. I almost stopped reading because I didn't want it to be that way, but then I sucked it up and read and I'm so glad I did. I almost cried when I got to the end like I totally knew Isaiah wasn't going to leave her and I almost cried when I realized what that meant. I had to stop reading because I didn't want her to do that to my favorite characters like no, don't hurt them like this. PLEASE.

I can't wait to read more about Abby, Logan, West, Ethan and the rest of the gang. Ohh can we have Rico's story too??I loved every second of the book and I can't wait to get my physical copy to put next to the others.

The playlist in the back of course only makes the book better, make sure to look out for my Book and Music Post for this book.

I highly recommend this book, this series and this author, Burn Rubber (see what I did there...yeah I'll stop now) to get this book my loves.
 ★★★★
Happy Reading
