Synopsis:
Nathaniel... Icon. Celebrity. Heartthrob. But underneath his movie-star good looks, he's battling with the demons of his past. No one knows the real Nathaniel, they only see the pinup, the illusion he pretends to be. Then one night he is forced to rely on Katie Field, an ordinary young woman from a very different world. She may be starstruck but she isn't blinded by the bright lights of fame. Can Nathaniel trust her enough to reveal the real man behind the mask? Let the seduction begin….
A great start to the series, I can't wait to continue. I really loved Katie, she was real and had real issues. A bit of body dysmorphic disorder but still a honest woman.  She had some goals and a plan and she was working it and getting where she needed to go.  One of her goals was working the play that Nate was in.  Nate had become one of the top actors in Hollywood, he decided he needed a break and wanted people to realize he wasn't just a pretty face but that he could actually act; he took a job acting in one of Shakespeare's productions and on opening night in front of sold out audience, the past comes crashing back into his life.

Nate comes from shyt background and has managed to thrive, I love that even though he's tough he's decent and has great qualities even BEFORE he met his love.  Nate was determined to prove himself not just to the world but to himself and his past.  He wanted to prove that he had not only moved past it but he was thriving.  He relies on Katie to help him escape the fallout of the opening night and from there we get a really great story.

I loved every second of the back and forth between them because it was awesome.  They flowed well together and were believable as a couple.  I loved that Katie was able to tell the difference between Nate the man, and Nate the actor, and when needed to called him out for trying to play the actor instead of being real with her.  I liked also that they both sought each other out and when Nate wasn't being real that Katie was willing to hold out for what she really wanted.  She had her standards and she stuck to them.  I loved that Katie  wasn't blind to the disadvantaged of being in love and was aware that she was worth more than he was trying offer and in fact demanded more from him.

Nate was trying desperately not to fall under the weight of his past and each time that Katie challenged him made him have to look deeper at his methods of living.  His relationships with his brothers was complicated and man oh man his past is just beyond ridiculous and yet he was willing to fight it all to have a shot at a future, granted he has a few slip ups where he let being an idiot rule him.

For a small book it took on some big topics and I can't wait to meet the other Wolfe's in this pack (yeah see what I did there??)

Anyways I hope you will enjoy reading this one my loves.
