Synopsis:
Quade Westmoreland's one-night love affair with Cheyenne had branded him body and soul, but he'd never even learned her last name. Almost a year later, driven by memories and one incriminating photo, the sexy operative had finally tracked her down--and discovered three little babies bearing his features. Learning he was a father made Quade even more determined: he would claim Cheyenne Steele in every way. Shockingly, the irresistible beauty seemed intent on resisting him. But the Westmoreland destiny was at stake, and Quade would fight for what was his....

I'm so behind on this series it's not even funny.  I dived into this one without reading the back, just knowing it's a Westmoreland book and that's all I needed.  This one of the family saga is a crossover book between the Westmorelands and the Steels which is another family saga Brenda writes.  I haven't read that one so I wasn't as invested in the back characters that showed up and now I'm going to go read their stories as well, I mean it was on the to do list but now they have moved all the way up.

This is a second chance romance, Cheyenne and Quade met overseas and had a brief affair.  Cut to a eleven months later, Quade is looking at a pregnancy magazine in his sister's home and on the cover is a heavily pregnant Cheyenne, he does some digging to find out who she is and where she is and goes on the hunt to find out if this is his baby.

Cheyenne in the meantime decided not to search for the man who she had that brief affair with and is going to raise her babies in Jamaica, but is staying the states close to family until the children are a little older and she's gotten a handle on being a single mom.  With the door bell ring, all of those plans come crashing down because on the other side is her baby's father.  And he's got questions.

I loved that Cheyenne was a strong independent woman, that she had more depth than even her family knew about. As she had a good career and used her privilege to do more than anyone knew. I loved that they had such a strong connection, it was tangible and left off the pages, I was excited to see them come back together and not just remember.  This story is told from both of their points of view with lots of flashbacks explaining how they met, what happened and how the affair ended.

Very steamy and now I want to go read the siblings stories and fall in love with all the family, because omigosh I loved how they loved her and how they were all about making sure she was safe, even if it smothered her sometimes.

Very quick read and another great love story.
 ★★★1/2
Happy Reading my loves,  and don't forget to check out the other books in the series.
